A little slice of the galaxy's edge in downtown Disney. Cool vibe and friendly staff. Build your own lightsaber. Its decorated inside and out with that starwars theme. Not as cool as going into the park, but great Disneyland option if you cant get a ticket or reservation. Only complaint is lack of magnets, Disney loves pins, but I wanted a fridge magnet.

Awesome Star Wars store in Downtown Disney! Great place to get your personalized Light Saber. Now, they have plenty of Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary shirts. Cool Darth Vader and stormtrooper helmets. I love the theme and decor, great stop!

This store is so cool! Decorated inside and out a la Star Wars style. For the more serious light saber enthusiasts, there is a glass counter containing fancy light sabers. In addition, there is an expert available right there to answer questions. My son enjoyed the build your own light saber area. He wanted to test out the Darth Vader Voice manipulating helmets, but there was no example available out of the box to try it out, so that was a bummer.

Wow. The trading post transports you into a world of goods and items that appeal both to the casual and hardcore Star Wars fan alike. Most of all however Star Wars Trading Post is above all else ... casual. It respects the time and finances of adults and parents, providing alternatives to more pricey options for them to purchase at semi-reasonable prices to make their child - or the child in them - have a galaxy of fun. Well worth the visit as you enter Downtown Disney, and I'll be certain to not only recommend to others but return one day soon as well.

What a cool shop although I miss the rainforest cafe. They have some cool star wars items and are constantly getting new stuff. I wish they had more Chewbacca stuff. The cast members are friendly and helpful. Some stuff is a bit pricey but it’s downtown Disney. Definitely check it out the theming is always great.

I really enjoy Star Wars and was hopeful that this store would have unique items that spoke to me. There was a lot of fun items, but I didn't find anything that couldn't be found elsewhere or seemed unique in any way. I am original trilogy fan and an old enough to remember watching New Hope in the theater. I wish that perhaps they'd have items from the films, stuff maybe not so cheaply manufactured but that was not the case. They had Ewok Mickey ears which appeared to be flying off the shelf and looked pretty fun for fans of the ears! I considered some of the funny shirts but ultimately passed. Still a fun visit and good use of the old restaurant space.
